Sustainable Communities (SC) Programme offers continuing education courses that enhance collaboration between academia and local and central governments in the field of sustainable urban planning. The main thematic areas of the programme are transportation, risk management, local economic development, energy and environmental management. The programme exploits interactive learning techniques; keynote lectures, case study presentations, dialogue opportunities, field visits and workshops, providing improved understanding and capabilities on sustainable urban planning – know-why, know-what and know-how.

Still time to enroll in the new course!

There are still open spaces in the REACHING SUSTAINABILITY IN URBAN PLANNING Continuing Education Course.

To give you time to finish your enrollment we have postponed the deadline to 31st of August. I
hope that you are able to submit all your enrollment documents to ulla.heinonen@tkk.fi by
end of this month. 

Based on the feedback, we have also decided to offer a tailored course (3 credits) for
those participants who are not able to participate in the major course due to tight
working schedules.
